Guidelines for Authors:
All manuscripts submitted according to the following guidelines will be considered for publication. WEF editorial policy provides for a blind review process. If the editor determines that the content of the manuscript is appropriate for the journal and conforms to the style requirements, it will be passed on for blind review by three or more reviewers. Authors should prepare manuscripts in accordance with the WEF Authors Guidelines, available from the managing editor; for general guidelines, use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) (4th ed.) with special attention to the following:

  • Submit five copies of the manuscript
  • Submit the manuscript on computer disk in Microsoft Word for Macintosh or PC
  • The manuscript should be between ten and twenty single-sided pages— including abstract, figures, tables, notes, and references
  • Double space the entire manuscript, with left-justified, ragged-right text. Use 12-point type
  • In accordance with the policy of blind review, include name, institution and position of author ONLY on the cover page. The complete title should appear on the first page of text; subsequent pages should carry only a running head
  • List all coauthors’ names, titles, addresses, and phone numbers

For a copy of the WEF Authors Guidelines, contact Mary J. Kisner, Managing Editor, Penn State University, 301 Keller Building, University Park, PA 16802-1303, 814-466-7191. E-Mail: mbk104@psu.edu
